I've had my fill
I've got to say... possiblity the best Xmas ever!
Once I got home from work on Xmas Eve at about 2pm I went straight into holiday gear. Spent the evening sending emails and making phone calls. And then towards the end of the night receiving a phone call from Dane... it was really good to hear his voice, he sounded like he was in fine spirits. Decided to hit bed a little after midnight, to the sounds of a good old fashioned midnight mass on CBS, complete with black gospal choir and minister... awesome!
Spent all of christmas at the house, and we had an amazing time. First of all having mimosas for breakfast, I made some scones, and then the presents. OH MY GOD I swear the biggest pile of presents I had ever recieved, I felt like a spoilt child. Mum and Kel got their fair share as well. But check this out...
I got a London Fog waistcoat, a pair of snowboots, snow gloves, money from mum, little toys and sweets, a desktop clock, and a 4gig Nano iPod! I couldn't believe it, infact I still can't believe it. Kel and Mum really enjoyed their gifts as well. Then I got started on our Xmas feast, a few new traditions, and decided to have a crack at a few different meals. It turned out great! Kel and Mum spent the afternoon snoozing, the cats high on capnip, and I made dinner. We drank through the night talking about old christmas nights, friends, family and old times. We then topped off the night by watching Polar Express, eating Cheesecake factory cake and drinking Kahlua coffee.
